Freedom from Fear

I am a Taurus. And I read my horoscope. One astrologer in particular that I enjoy is Jonathan Cainer. While I know that he is writing for the masses and I also know to take my horoscope lightly, I find it interesting and sometimes even enlightening.
In my horoscope for 2010, Cainer says I will be freed from a fear and areas where I have held back or have felt held back will open up for me. That is of course if I let go of the fear. There’s always a catch. He also said that I have started on a path that I am happy with and that will continue. This is good news.
And it started me thinking. What am I afraid of? There’s plenty. And I know there are areas of my life that are starting to shift toward the more positive for 2010. So maybe I’ll pay a little more attention to this particular horoscope. Facing our fears is what it’s all about sometimes.
There is one path in 2009 that I have been pleased with. The recovery of my health and strength. I faced some really big fears in 2009 and I faced them head on and conquered them. I started running and I competed in triathlons. Races are scary, especially as a newbie, but when you cross that finish line, nothing feels better.
Competing in triathlons in 2009 made me feel powerful, exhilarated and fearless. I’m looking forward to that feeling again as I enter more challenging races in 2010.
After reading my horoscope today, I realized that I need to approach my other issues the way I prepared for my races. One step at a time. One foot in front of the other. We can do anything when we put our minds to it.
I’m heading into 2010 the way I handled my triathlons in 2009. I’ll be facing my fears head on… and conquering them.
Jonathan Cainer’s 2010 Horoscope: Taurus (truncated)
For you, 2010, is about freedom from fear…There are, of course, aspects of your life that you are already relatively pleased with and they will progress comfortably enough….You’ll realize just how ready you are to say hello to a happier, healthier, easier future and the moment you start to feel that way, it will become possible. Something that has refused resolutely to shift is about to budge. And as it moves, so you do too, into a new frame of mind where you don’t feel afraid of anyone or anything. That is big news. All other issues stem from it. If you’re not afraid, you can do almost anything. You can go almost anywhere. You can solve almost any problem. And this year, as fear becomes a fading memory, you’ll make great use of all the opportunity and inspiration that comes flooding into your life to take its place.

I read my horoscope usually after the day so I can see if it came true
I’m nervous for races too because I’m a newbie at this too. I have to pee lot’s before the start but once I’m running it’s over and yes crossing the finish line feels great!
