When I came back from Chicago two weeks ago, I got back on the training/eating healthy road. And I’ve done really well, having lost much of the weight I gained during the ridiculous work schedule stress of February and early March. I was very pleased with the numbers on the scale last week. This week, as often happens after a big loss (I was down 9 pounds), a couple of pounds jump back on and then just stay there. Even when I think I’m doing everything right— I say think, because it’s rare that I actually am doing everything right— that scale doesn’t want to budge, and it frustrates me. And frustration leads to? You guessed, it food cravings. At this time of year, candy is the number one food craving I have to contend with. Candy is one of my biggest challenges.
